Just Friends

[Ginny] *After disapparting to Cedric's front yard she pulled out her cell and called him, hoping he was home and would answer his damn cell this time. his parents don't really get along with her so she avoids them at all costs.*

[Cedric] *laying on his bed when his cell vibrates on the nightstand, he picks it up and flips it open* Hello? *he says in a husky voice*

[Ginny] Hey, Cedric. Where are you? *her voice rings through to Cedric's ear*

[Cedric] I'm in my bedroom, why? What happened? *he sits up on his bed worried*

[Ginny] I packed my shit and left, disapparatiing to your front

yard. *she sighed, knowing it was better than facing Harry right now. he wants her to move in with him but she just isn't ready for that step in their relationship yet.*

[Cedric] Damn, I'll be right down. *he jumps up and heads for his bedroom door*

[Ginny] Wait! Where are your parents?

[Cedric] *stops dead in his doorway* They're both in Romania. Why do you ask, Ginny? *he was hopeful that she felt about him like he does her but knew that would never happen. a guy can have hopes though.*

[Ginny] Can I come up then? *she sounded almost sad*

[Cedric] Of course, you can. *lays down on his bed, flipping his phone closed and waiting on Ginny to come up. how he wishes he could have her as his own. but she has been in love with Harry since her first day at Hogwarts. he never had a chance against him*

[Ginny] *walks into his house and upstairs knocking lightly on his open bedroom door*

[Cedric] *looks up at her angelic face, smiling* You know you don't have to knock. Come on in. *he moves over on his twin bed for her to either lay or sit with him, he pats the bed for her to join him*

[Ginny] *puts down her purse and bag and walks over, laying down with Cedric she buries her face in his chest inhaling his cologne. she always did this when she was upset about soemthing.*

[Cedric] *brushes his hand down her hair* What happened, angel?

[Ginny] I left my mother crying because I was leaving. She doesn't want me to grow up but they were smothering me. You know that. It was driving me crazy. I couldn't take it any longer, I had to get out of there. *she said exasperated*

[Cedric] It's ok, baby girl. *he begins playing with a stray strand of her hair*

[Ginny] *eases her arm around him pulling him closer her breathing becoming rapid*

[Cedric] Everything will be alright. *pulls her chin up s she was looking at him. noticing her breathing.* Are you ok, Ginny? *his voice dripping with desire*

[Ginny] *nods* Yes, I'm just so confused.

[Cedric] *stares into her eyes and leans down kissing her softly*

[Ginny] *melts into his kiss before pushing him back.* Cedric, stop. I can't do this. You're my bestfriend and I'm with Harry. You know that." *he left her breathless just from the one kiss. she was really confused now. she was starting to feel something for Cedric but couldn't figure o

ut what. she rolled away from him onto her side with her back to him putting one arm under her head*

[Cedric] I'm sorry, Ginny. *he sighs, sliding his arm around her.* Forgive me?

[Ginny] *grins to herself* Of course, Cedric. You're my bestfriend.

[Cedric] *yawns* I'm glad, I don't know what I would do if you were mad at me.

[Ginny] Find some other girl to bug, like Cho.

[Cedric] Yeah, i guess. *he says quietly*

[Ginny] *yawns widely* Can I sleep here or you want me to go to Harry's? *she asks hoping he says she can stay, she's still not ready to face Harry with her decision. he'll be wanting her to move in with him*

[Cedric] You can stay here or you can go into the guest room.

[Ginny] I would rather sleep in your arms. *she blushes*

[Cedric] Then sleep, angel. *closes his eyes, thinking of how much he loves her as he drifts off to sleep with her in his arms*

[Ginny] *lays there smiling, snuggling into his arms, eventually going to sleep*
