A Fight Amongst Us

*Cho was in the kitchen cleaning up after the huge dinner she had cooked for Cedric. She was hoping that tonight would have been the night he proposed to her but no luck. It got her to thinking that maybe it wasn’t her he wanted. She decided to confront him about it. She walked out of the kitchen and into the living room where he was reading something.*

[Cho] *stops and watces him for a moment* Hey, what ar

e you reading? *she was curious to his every move. She walks over and sits in a chair across from him*

[Cedric] *puts the book away quickly, not realizing that Cho had been watching him* It’s

nothing. Just an old book of mine. *he smiles*

[Cho] Uh…*she started nervously* I think…. *her voice trailed off unable to continue what she was about to say*

[Cedric] What do you think? *he asks her confused*

[Cho] Well, um…*she rubs her hands together looking at the floor*

[Cedric] Just spit it out already, Cho. *he was starting to get annoyed. He wants to be with Ginny right now, not Cho*

[Cho] We need to talk. *she looks up at him*

[Cedric] About what? *narrows his eyes at her*

[Cho] Ginny.

[Cedric] *is clearly pissed now. He stands up and crosses his arms* What about her? *he stands there waiting on her to answer him*

[Cho] *takes a deep breath* I don’t want you seeing her anymore…*she was interrupted by Cedric*

[Cedric] You WHAT? Who the hell do you think you are telling me who you don’t want me seeing? She’s my best friend, Cho, and has been since I can remember. I am NOT going to stop seeing her because you’re fucking jealous of her. *he points right at her* Now either deal with it or leave! *points towards the door* I am NOT putting up with this shit. Got it?

[Cho] No, Ced. I don’t. *she stand sup and faces him head on* I don’t get how you can be with one woman but HAVE to see another even though you two claim you have never done anything.

[Cedric] Because she’s my friend, Cho. I will always be there for her. Like I said previously, if you can’t deal then you can leave.

[Cho] I don’t want to leave, Ced. But maybe we should spend some time apart. We haven’t been getting along very well lately. I think we may need some time to ourselves.

[Cedric] Agreed! *he sits back down on the couch* Now, please leave so I can get a jump start on that. *he never looks at her*

[Cho] *tears in her eyes, grabs her purse and heads toward the door* I’ll see you later, Ced. I love you! *she tells him before disapparating*
